HAMEG is noted for rugged and economically priced products for more than fifty years and offers a wide range of electronic products for various applications.
HAMEG Oscilloscopes
Facing a broad mix of applications and budgets in industry, service, handcraft, science, training and private use, HAMEG Instruments offers a diversified portfolio of conventional CRTs in pure analogue or mixed design (CombiScope®) as well as modern DSO/MSO instruments. Without doubt the oscilloscope is the primary measuring instrument when it comes to characterisation of signal curve shapes in the time domain. In recent years the demand for pure analogue instruments has decreased because, higher priced, digital storage oscilloscope provide numerous advantageous features like documentability of measurements, smaller size instruments or a Mixed Signal Oscilloscope (MSO) function.
Some features the different Hameg Oscilloscopes offer:
4GSa/s Real time, 50GSa/s Random sampling, low noise flash A/D converter (reference class)
4MPts memory, memory Zoom up to 100,000:1
MSO (Mixed Signal Opt. HO3508/HO3516) with 8 /16 logic channels
Serial bus trigger and hardware acelerated decode , I2C, SPI, UART/RS-232 (Opt. HOO10)
8 user definable marker for easy navigation
Pass/Fail Test based on masks
Vertical sensitivity 1mV/div., Offset control ±0.2...±20V
12div. x-axis display range, 20div. y-axis display range (VirtualScreen)

HAMEG Analyzers
Taking measurements with a spectrum analyser is as easy as working with an oscilloscope. Properly used, applications of the spectrum analyser are manifold in research & development, test facility, service and EMC diagnostics. Spectrum analysers can display signals up to very high frequencies. Due to the superhet receiver principle, the logarithmic analysis and display of data, the spectrum analyser has a higher sensitivity and a higher dynamic range compared to an oscilloscope.
Performing spectrum analysis with HAMEG spectrum analysers means taking advantage of frequency ranges up to 3GHz, large amplitude ranges, an internal frequency synthesis by phase-synchronous Direct Digital frequency Synthesis (DDS) and much more. Integrated interfaces for high speed data communications with external PC as well as free PC software with EMC Pre-Compliance Measurement functions are provided with the digital spectrum analyzers. Diverse optional accessories such as near-field probes for different measurement applications, make spectrum analysers the ‘tool of choice’ for a broad range of tests like EMC Pre- Compliance Measurements and analysis on radio systems such as UMTS, GSM, TETRA, DVB-T, Bluetooth, WLAN and many more.
Some features the different HAMEG Analyzers offer:
Frequency range 100kHz…3GHz
Amplitude measurement range -114…+20dBm DANL -135dBm with Preamp. Option HO3011
